What’s required to participate?
One member of your team will be required to have a smart phone that can connect to the internet and is capable of downloading an app from either the Apple App Store or Google Play. Comfortable shoes and a bottle of water are also recommended.
How does the Toronto Art Heist work?
Participants will register to participate in the hunt online through this website. Approximately 12 hours before the start of the Toronto Art Heist, players will receive an email (make sure to check your Junk Folder) with the app download instructions and individual passcode to unlock the Toronto Art Heist.
How Long is the Toronto Art Heist?
The Toronto Art Heist is approximately 10km long and will take 3.5hrs to complete.
Is there a time window to complete the Toronto Art Heist?
Yes, the Toronto Art Heist will go live on Saturday October 16 at 9am and end on Sunday October 17 at 7pm.
What will I be doing along this Toronto Art Heist?
Players will be deciphering clues that will lead to 16 different locations across Toronto’s downtown core. Once at a designated location, players will need to complete 3 tasks before moving on to the next hidden location.
Tasks include:
- check-in inside a designated geo-fenced area
- finding and scanning hidden QR Codes
- answering skill testing multiple choice questions
Is this Toronto Art Heist contactless?
Yes. There will be no touch points during this Toronto Art Heist. All tasks are completely contactless for a fun and safe activity for everyone.
Can I complete the Toronto Art Heist with the help of a Bicycle or Car?
Yes! You can walk, bike, drive or use TTC to help you reach the various stops along the Toronto Art Heist route during the Toronto Art Heist.
How Much does the Toronto Art Heist Cost?
The cost to register your team is $25 plus taxes and service fees.
Who can be on my Team?
We ask that only people from the same household or bubble form a team. But your team can be as BIG or small as you want!
Is this Toronto Art Heist appropriate for young children?
While the Toronto Art Heist is open to people of all ages, it is geared towards an adult audience.
Are Pets Allowed?
YES! You can bring your leashed Pet on the Toronto Art Heist with you.
Do you have a weather policy?
We will be operational Rain or Shine!
What is your refund policy?
All sales are final and non-refundable.
Do you have restrooms?
NO restrooms will be made available on the Toronto Art Heist route.
What items are not permitted during the Toronto Art Heist?
Absolutely no alcohol or drug use is permitted while completing the Toronto Art Heist.
